A Group of researchers from Kermanshah University of Technology (KUT), Koya University and the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) published a research paper entitled “A novel microstrip diplexer with compact size and high isolation for GSM applications” in the AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications. The paper Presents a novel high-performance microstrip diplexer to operate at 0.78 GHz and 1.85 GHz for GSM applications. Professor Salah I. Salah I. Yahya is a Professor at the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of engineering, Koya University. He is the Director of Quality Assurance and Curriculum Development. He has a Ph.D. in MW and Communication Engineering. Prof. Yahya has more than 55 published scientific papers, most in journals indexed by Clarivate Analytics. Prof. Yahya is a Senior Member of IEEE. Abbas Rezaei is an  Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Kermanshah University of Technology. Abbas Rezaei received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in electronics engineering from Razi University, Kermanshah, Iran, in 2005, 2009 and 2013, respectively. Mohd H. Jamaluddin received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing and telecommunications from the Universite´ de Rennes 1, France, in 2009, with a focus on microwave communication systems and especially antennas such as dielectric resonator and reflectarray and dielectric dome antennas. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Wireless Communication Centre, School of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His research interests include dielectric resonator antennas, printed microstrip antennas, MIMO antennas and DRA reflectarray antennas.
