On Thursday, March 9, 2023, Koya University facilitated the admission of all grade 12 high school students in the Koya area as part of celebrations honoring the anniversary of the Koya uprising.

A special team of students from faculties, research centers, the university campus, the central library, and the Koya Education Directorate were formed for this purpose under the direction of the Vice President for Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Qaraman Nader, in coordination with the Koya Education Directorate, and with the help of an excellent committee.

The 12th grade students were greeted by the reception and guidance team throughout the day while dressed in Kurdish attire, and they received all the details about the departments and faculties, life at the university, and the status of Koya University.

The lecturers and staff of the scientific departments welcomed the students and gave them an overview of their fields at the same time.
